Hey Folks:

Anybody in the LA area looking to gain a life’s worth of knowledge of computer music in only 10 weeks please read on…

Cal State LA’s Division of Extended Education presents:

"Introduction to Digital Audio Editing & Recording For the PC"

Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge in Windows 95/98/2000

Students looking for a unique way to break into the tv, film, radio, internet or music businesses will acquire the basic skills necessary to record and edit audio/midi on their desktop or laptop PC. They will learn basic audio editing & recording techniques that could qualify them for employment as professional music & sound editors. This course will not focus directly on music creation (though it certainly will be included) but more on music and sound editing, so that a person with very little musical background can still benefit from the course and perhaps find a niche in the music / entertainment industry without having formal musical training. Certainly musicians and composers with no computer music experience will open a whole new world to themselves!
