    So for those of you who might want to turn your iphone into a portable recorder (lectures, music, rough demos), here is a nifty little guide on how to do just that.

    Hi and thanks for publicizing the great recording tool that is the iPhone. In my case, it's revolutionized the way I record, and brought me back to my lo-fi roots. Everyone with an iPhone or considering one should check out a great app called MultiTrack. It's a fantastic tool, 16 tracks!

    I'm in the middle of a year-long recording project where I write and record a new song every week. I write about the recording process and using the iPhone. It's in the form of a blog here: You'll be able to hear how great even the iPhone's built-in mic sounds - I use it for most of the vocals. Stop by and let me know what you think.
