How to clean velcro sounds from live audio - should iZotope RX3 be able to do this?

Trying to remove the sounds of someone adjusting their velcro shoe straps during a performance. I've been trying the iZotope RX3 demo, so far with only so-so results, but it's likely I'm not getting the most out of it.

Here's a sample. 48/16 file about 4 megs. Do you think iZotope should be able to clean this up?

Lol....

Unfortunately the placement of the camcorder was determined by the configuration of the room and proximity to the singing group and the person just happened to sit near where I was already set up.

That sucks man. I don't have any ideas. Maybe next time you post signs that read "No velcro or bubble wrap in this area please".

Try downloading the 28 day trial of Adobe Audition. Open your file in Spectral Frequency view, draw around the velcro noises then use the spot healing function--I've not heard your file (your download site keeps freezing on me--I'll keep trying) but your description sounds the sort of thing that could fix.
