Hey, how do you guys feel about Steve Albini?

Just wanted to see how yinz felt about the resident alternative curmudgeon that we all love to hate to love.
 
I really like his approach to recording and the end result is very nice. He does seem like a bit of a snob when talking about audio though. A my way or the highway kinda guy. I downloaded a set of stems to the song very ape by nirvana. They sounded almost as good as the record without any processing. It takes a very talented engineer to be able to do that. :p
