help this newbie

I am brand spankin new to this. I am very interested in setting up a recording system on my computer. I'll just be recording my self with multiple tracks. I am not going to do anything fancy. Which software would be recommended that is simple for a simple guy like me. Thanks for the help.

start searching this BB. Use the SEARCH button.. look for words that interest you. Do this for exactle 45 minutes. Then post another question... maybe a little more specific.

either that or check out the software forums (cakewalk, cubase, n-track, sonic foundry, cool edit) in the User Forms by Brand section.

I like Sonic Foundry ... so I say Vegas.
