I cannot record on my computer now...
Whenever I try to load my USB-Based recorder, I am now getting a message that states "Stack error"...please do reconfigure.sys"

How I resolve this stack error? What the hey is a stack error?
A bad boob job?

Any help from you computer geeks would be seriously & vehemently appreciated!

What operating system and what software for recording?

Stack errors, that's turning back the clock for me. (man DOOM won't run, increase the stacks..) Need to know the OS and software, even then it's quite likely I won't be able to resolve it, but worth shot I suppose.

Thanks, Guys...

I am typing this out from the hospital, as my son is recorvering from major surgery...He is sleeping, so I am using a computer available to the parents.

My OS is Windows 98 (not 2nd edition).
And another tidbit that might help: I attempted to upgrade the drivers from the sight in question www.opcode.com

Then I read since Gibson bought them, those downloads won't work.

So NOW when I try and re-load the original drivers that came with my Opcode Sonicport, that's when the whole system crashes and I get the "Stack Error' message, change your settings in the config.sys (?)

In other words..I can't load drivers or plug in my SonicPOrt without an error message.
Recording software is N-Track

Thanks for your help, and please say a prayer for my son.
