Getting started

Hi everyone! I am a banjo musician and I want to do some recording. Here is the equipment I currently have.....

12 channel Mackey mixer..non usb
SM58s
Audio Technica 4033CL condenser
typical desktop computer

I need to get some recording software and find a way to run the mixer into the computer.

Or.....

get some device simply connect the mic into the computer as an input to the software. Nothing fancy. Just workable. The recordings will be several tracks of instruments (all that I play) recorded one at a time.

What is a simple way to get the mic into the computer. In the case of the condenser I need phantom power.

Hey! It's possible to make great recordings using the mic in jack of any computer. The mic jack is usually the best choice when recording directly from a computer microphone. Thanks.
