I recently went on tour with a band and during our trip worked extensively on some DP sessions with my laptop.
Problem: the day before we returned to the states my laptop died. Hard drive problem. When I got back I took my hard drive to a recovery specialist and they recovered ALL the data. Great!! No. The DP session files are now all document files, and DP will not recognize the sessions. Still have the audio files folder, the analysis files folder, basic session file structure, etc. However, like I said, the DP session files aren't recognized by DP... Am I totally fucked here? IS there a way to re-construct the session file rather than having to open a new project and attempt to re-construct the songs from scratch? This is driving me nuts, I paid a pretty penny for the data recovery, only to find I can't actually open the projects in DP.... Anyone care to share opinions on this?
