I have been using a mackie 1604/delta 1010 combo for years and it just gives me way too many problems. I was thinking about getting the 16ch presonu studio live. Then I discovered that you can't record directly into a DAW. You have to record with their app and then import.....this is a deal breaker for me. So I would like to know if there is something similar to the studio live. I like the idea of having good preamps and the ability to add compressor and gates for each channel. If there's something that acts as a control surface as well that's a bonus.
