ok .. i only need 8 inputs but you know 10 wouldn't hurt.
im wondering if the Delta 1010 works the same as the Delta 44 ...
does it? what's the difference other than 10 inputs rather than 4? sorry for such newbie question but i've read about the delta 1010 .. but two delta 44's seem to do the job.

If you are talking about the 1010 with the breakout box - the diff is that the converters are on the breakoutbox.

Besides being in the breakout box, I believe the 1010's converters are higher-quality. Other differences: the 1010 has stereo digital I/O (S/PDIF), a MIDI interface, and word clock for synching digitally to other devices.
