a couple questions.....need help

i ordered the gadgetlabs 424 and it took me about 10 days of headaches to get it installed to my wretched compaq k62 but i finally get it installed

heres my setup

midi sequence in cakewalk out thru 424 into proteus2g sound module.proteus signal to mixer channels 3-4 5-6 7-8 mixed then out thru balanced stereo out into chanels 1 and 3 of 424 (l-r)

i record audio in cakewalk but when i monitor back in to my mixer the sound that shows at 0db on cakewalks monitor is ALOT less back into my mixer.....help!

also is there anyway to output normal computer audio in stereo,without having 2 seperate mono tracks?
 
Well...... check to see if both your mixers and your soundcards outputs are the same.
Probly either +4 or -10 dBu will be your choices.
