Here's my setup: I have a steinberg ur 22 going into reaper and then output to presonus eris 4.5 speakers, which is all where I record my songs.
I've just bough a boss rc-300 looper so i can now go and perform these live without any computers.
So to start with I just want to take the rc-300 output straight to the speakers so I'm basically just using the speakers as a PA. Not bothered about recording at the moment.
Bit confused though by the connections.
The Eris' have:
1 set of balanced trs input (which I'm using from the ur22)
1 set unbalanced rca inputs (Not being used)
1 small aux on the front (Not being used)
So would i connect the jack outputs of the rc-300 (which I assume are unbalanced) to the unbalanced rca inputs on the speakers and job done? I can then just use the rca and speakers independently without turning on laptop etc.
