Computer Recording? What should I get?

Hey people. Now, I have been recording for a while now, but I want to record on the computer. Right now, I'm recording everything on the Boss BR-8. What kind of programs or whatever do I need to start putting all of my mixes to computer? I don't have a fuckin' clue on how or where to start. Money isn't an issue for me right now so just "reasonable" priced equipt is necessary.

1 computer with enough speed and RAM

2 software to record and edit with (not always the same program, but can be)

3 a soundcard in your computer that's designed for audio recording: full duplex, with as many ins and outs as you're going to need to do the stuff you want to do
