What are peoples thoughts on tablets for recording and guitar effects etc.
I currently just use my iphone with garageband for recording and pocket amp for jamming by myself which I find awesome. I know it's not going to be as good as using a Mac or PC but find it very handy for getting ideas down etc and for playing as I can't leave all my gear set up.
Would you recommend ipad or android? Please if your one of these apple suck ups who blindly go around saying apple is the best without having tried the competition please don't reply. (To be honest I'm over apple and their restrictions , particularly iTunes, and am definitely getting and android phone when my contract is up having used my wife's android and found it much better) but I digress, if people honestly feel the ipad is better I would go with it.
