behringer eurorack ubb1002 Not picking up on my computer

Hey everyone im new here. I am building a little online radio station.

I have a behringer eurorack ubb1002 with two condenser mics hooked up. The guy at the music store said I can hook it to my computer through the line in.

My Computer is a Aspire e 17. So i read up on it and it has a multi use jack. I checked out a bunch of you tube demos on how to get it to work.

For some reason no matter what I do the mic still uses the mic on my lap top.

Any help would be amazing thank you everyone.

Jason, this sounds like a digital/computer based recording issue. There is a sub forum here for those topics. You might want to try posting there as you might have a better chance at getting some helpful feedback. This forum is related to analog equipment (tape machines, analog mixers, etc.)
