Basic studio setup and midi sync

Hallo everyone

I am newbie to some of the topics and I will certainly appreciate some basic advice. English is not my native language - please be patient with me
And please redirect me if this here turns out to be the wrong forum.

Please check out the attached picture.
I am trying to set up a small studio, and of course I am having troubles with it.

Purpose is to get not only the instruments into the DAW on the Mac but to get sounds from iPad routed through an iConnectivity device and to be able to synchronise Midi Clock with the looper.

That might be a lot for just a newbie and maybe I will have to do a step backwards or rethink from scratch. I'd be delighted if some of you could comment the setup sketch.

I'm sure there's outboard gear that will allow you to do this, for a price (synchronizing multiple USB audio sources into one cohesive audio out). But I would imagine whatever you're trying to accomplish can all be done in the Mac.
