Hi -- Have had a AW 4416 for years now, but I split custody of it with a former bandmate and just got it back after 4.5 years, so naturally I am 4416tarded.
Never had this problem -- can't monitor something I have recorded. I have the simplest setup -- once mic on each of inputs 1 and 2, routed to tracks 1 and 2 respectively; no special routing on the monitor channel. Recording, I get level., and can hear it in the cans (and via the monitor out if I so choose). But on playback, I get nothing -- not even levels in the VUs, but I can see the audio I recorded in the Track view etc.
NEVER had this issue, and it's not covered in the manuals or here (that I can see).
I assume it's a simple routing issue with the monitor channels, but am stuck.
If anyone is using a 4416 and can help, that'd be swell.
Brad
