Audacity and Creative E-MU 1212

st started using Audacity and now it only plays files.When I click on START MONITORING...I get nothing.
IWhen I hit record I get A flat line.Windows XP ;Creative E-MU 1212 soundcard. There's deffinately
signal out that Is looped back to input with A behringer mixer in between.Please reply 'cause I'm stuck!

Don't know Audacity, but it sounds like you don't have the EMU selected as your input device.

That's a possibility.To do that would I add another insert strip and select send /return(physical output and
input)?

Hmm? I rarely use Audacity and cannot get it to see all of the KA's inputs for 6 tracks. I was also not aware that it cannot use ASIO drivers.
Maybe ASIO4All works?

Note. You need the interface set as default in W7 and check the levels.
