Applying VST to Live Audio

Hello I am wanting to apply some VST plugins to my audio stream when using Teamspeak/livestreaming to help eliminate background noise and apply other effects and I would like to achieve it without any additional hardware if possible.

I have tried a few methods already but not to much success, ideally I would like a piece of software that lets me set my microphone as the input then applies my VST plugins with itself set as the output(of use VAC if it can't create its own output device) so I can then select it as the input in my program of choice.

The closest I have got is Microphone -> VSTHost -> Virtual Audio Cable(VAC) -> Teamspeak/program but somehow managed to pickup rather noticeable feedback along the way, I also tried a program called LiveProfessor but upon trying to select my mic as the input device I get an extreme amount of noise as well as not being able to select a separate output device.

Is the a better way to achieve this?

I'm running Win7 x64 with an ASUS Essence STX soundcard

Thanks in advance.
