Apogee Ensemble?

For that money, I think most people would agree that an RME Fireface 800 would be a better choice. Even though Apogee makes killer converters and such, RME has had a proven reputation as having great conversion, as well as insanely stable drivers. And the Fireface can be had for about $1450.
 
Hmm.... Apogee.... RME..... Apogee..... RME.... APOGEEEEEE..... RME..... Come on man its all about the Apogee. You see those blue meters on the front.... (jizzes all over self) thats how you know it's badass. Plus 2 headphone amps... the only thing im trying to figure out is if you can run preamps into the insert returns of the 1st and 2nd channel mic pre. I think it can be done. What do ya'll think?
