Any tool to looping a section of a video clip?

Hello,

I'm practicing some guitar lessons and I have some video clips for it in MP4.

My question is if someone knows a tool where I can define an starting point an end point and then define a loop to practice??

Same as I have for MP3 or audio clips in Ableton or my Tascam DR3 but for video.

Any decent video editor will do it - just like any decent audio editor (like Ableton) will loop audio.

I've used Sony's Vegas before and it was totally straightforward and obvious how it worked -They have a free trial. I also used Virtualdub once for something I don't remember. It's free and open source... I'm not 100% certain it can loop a specified region, but it would be really, really weird if it can't..

Thanks a lot for answering. Finally I found VLC Media Player (VideoLAN - Official page for VLC media player, the Open Source video framework!) which is free and open source and worked nicely.

Now I can define the loops in the video
