I got a ? I was wondering if anyone knew about this. In Nuendo and Wavelab how do you reverse only certain sections of songs instead of the whole wave file for example if I'm going to do a radio edit version and reverse only the words that contain profanity.

For Nuendo - Use the scissor tool and cut the vocal track up into segments. Apply whatever effect you want on each segment.

I've done this a few times. You just have to get into that wave file and watch for the portion that you want to reverse. Once you zero in on it, select it and use the reverse function in Wavelab (it's on the main menu bar someplace, not hard to find). Now sometimes it's hard to get the reversal to sound just right so make sure to listen very critically to each reversal before moving to the next, and don't be afraid to zoom way in...and make sure to save the original file!
