Yet another 388 question:

Hello - I've got another question about my "new" 388. There is no output from the Stereo Out RCA jacks. The gut I got it from said they always used the Monitor Out, which does work just fine. I have not tried the XLR Stereo Outs, don't have any mastering decks with XLR Inputs. I suppose I could get some adapters and check the XLR Outs. Shouldn't there be signal output at the RCA Stereo Outs anytime the Stereo Master fader is up? Thanks in advance, again.

also, i don't have the machine so don't know much...
but quick thought: what that switch for (see pic) ? Maybe you should try it

Dr. Zee- I did check that switch out- it changes the wiring on the XLR jacks from balanced to unbalanced. They pretty much thought of everything on this machine!!!
