TEAC A-6100 dead transport

Hi Kids,

I was messing about with my TEAC A-6100 stereo 1/4 inch reel to reel last night and the transpord died on me.

I know what has happened, so i'll tell you. I was atteching the remote controle unit to the back of the machine but the socket that it attaches to is brocken and has come away fram the casing. It has been like that for ages and hasn't caused a problem till now. As i was pluggin in the remote the socket shorted out and a tiny spark occured.
I thought "oh bollocks i've bust a fuse there" so i whipped of the back to hunt down the bust fuse and quickly replace it only to "find" that i could find a single bloody fuse in the bloody machine (ecept for the one for the mains in).

Have i completely fucked my machine or does anyone know what needs fixing. Does anybody own one of these beasts..... actually does anyone have a manual (sevice or otherwise) that they could scan and e-mail me.

Thanks in advance
