Hey guys,
I just bought a Porta 03 MKII to use as a quick sketchpad for ideas, and I'm encountering a problem.
I can record on tracks 1, 3, and 4 without a problem on either mic input (1 or 2). But when I try to record on track 2, I just get feedback. This happens with either mic input, and it only happens once I press record (not when I'm monitoring the track 2 signal before I hit record).
The only way this seems to go away is if I turn down the track 1 level knob. Of course, this is a problem if I want to overdub and need to hear what I recorded on track 1.
Even though I've used 4-tracks for years and years, I looked through the manual just to make sure I wasn't missing anything and didn't find an answer.
Does anybody have a clue what could be causing this?
