Tascam m520 - interesting find (website)

Has anyone come across this before? Anyone know what the purpose of it is?

http://multimedia.utsa.edu/technology/3153/tascam520/large.html

BTW, what are the dimensions and weight of a m520 mixer anyway? I might be picking one up pretty quick and need to know what arrangements I need to make as far as help and vehicle.:D

Generally speaking a drawing like that would be used to mark the positions of all the buttons, faders, pans and pots so it could be used to recall the mix for the next session. That pic is unusal in that it has the hash marks on everything because normally, the engineer would draw them in amd also mark the fader postions.
Like this recall sheet. http://www.uaudio.com/products/hardware/21176/_docs/2-1176_recall-sheet.pdf Or this http://www.toftaudio.com/pdf/ATC2_Recall.pdf

So who knows what the one you found is really for.

I assigned channel 1 to buss 1, turned up buss 1, turned up the monitor and.... nothing! I think it's broken!

Does anyone have parts for a virtual M-520? I need to get this fixed!

:D

Teac 2A mixer anyone?

Apparently this site is an outdated tool for UT in San Antonio, their music department. I think I saw something about class of 2003 on there. Interesting nonetheless

I have one of those flash files for the M-520...I had put it up some time ago on my M-520 thread...link is broken now but will be back in place eventually. I got ahold of the instructor for the class and he emailed the file to me so you can save it on your hard drive and access the utility offline...If you have a computer and printer in the control room you can set the virtual mixer up to match the physical mixer's setting and then either print a hardcopy as a cue sheet or take a screenshot and save it as a jpeg on the computer.

BTW, I PM'ed you with the mixer dims and info about the meter bridge...

Awesome. Got it and replied back.

I was trying to find a manual for the 520 when I came across those sites.
