I know this is the wrong place, but I want the analog guys to be aware.
I'm moving from Northern Ca to LA. Want to get my load from 2 trips with a 20 foot truck down to one trip.

Gotta downsize, so one of my consoles is up for grabs. I'll post an official ad in the proper section, but want to make everyone here aware.

It has to go to someone within driving distance and I'd like it to go to a good home.

Well, I put it up on cl. Sold in two weeks.

A nice guy that was doing club, techno and dubstep music came picked it up.

He wanted to integrate some analog goodness into his workflow.

I didn't put it up for a lot of money, but did a fair to all pricing that would ensure it wouldn't be up on cl for the next year.

He's happy, I'm happy, and we have a new 520 convert.
:D

Nice man!

i've been offered a TASCAM M512 in very nice overall condition, but im not sure wether it woul'd need recaping. I know the guy who's selling it and he's a good man. He owns a studio and recalled that he did not had any sound deterioration using the console. But might it be inevitable to spend a fortune of money (or time) to recap the whole console?

the guy wants 250$ for it. i might be able to talk him down a bit.
