Tascam 388 pgm outs into focusrite saffire pro 40

Hey so I'm running 8 pgm outs on the tascam 388 into a saffire pro 40 into ableton was wondering if there's anyway to get a better line level volume in. I found myself cranking gain knobs on focusrites gain knobs to 6 to get a good lvl in. Is there anything I can do on the focusrites mixer? So I can get better source volume. I heard the focusrite has a -20db input level when you first install the mixer.

Any suggestions are appreciated
