For ten years ago i've bought the TASCAM TSR-8 + M-2524 + MTS-1000.
This set is perfect matched to work fine. You can control also midi equiment with it. there are custom made flightcases for recorder and mixer. including 7 metre multicable for connecting recorder and mixer. On the link above you'll see some recent pictures. All in top condition. The TSR-8 is the latest version so all hardware updates are done.
The MTS-1000 is an remote and synchronizer. You can connect 2 analoog recorders and digitaal or midi equiment. So it will be one central controller for your complete analoge and digital studio.
