Record cutter

I guess it doesn't get more analog than this. Record to tape, mix to tape, and then cut your own vinyl.

Spotted this while surfing CL.

Heh, I looked long and hard and failed to find a speed control. Be that as it may, it's unlikely to cut microgroove, so I'm not sure how well a modern deck would handle it without a 78rpm compatible stylus.

You have to remember that a lot of these types of disc-cutters were made for radio stations back in the pre-tape days.

Think Magnecorder...or if you've ever used one, think "recurring Magnecorder nightmare"...

In that case, use a sewing needle.
