Record cutter

Super cool! If only I lived on the other side of the country and had 950 to invest in starting a small record cutting business.
 
4th image in the ad shows a slide switch to change between 78's and 33's...so its truly modern! :D sarcasm

Heh, I looked long and hard and failed to find a speed control. Be that as it may, it's unlikely to cut microgroove, so I'm not sure how well a modern deck would handle it without a 78rpm compatible stylus.
 
You have to remember that a lot of these types of disc-cutters were made for radio stations back in the pre-tape days.

Think Magnecorder...or if you've ever used one, think "recurring Magnecorder nightmare"...

In that case, use a sewing needle.;)
 
"Use genuine RCA cactus needles for highest fidelity" I have some antique needle boxes with that statement on them.
