Making Recording Diagrams

This may seem like a weird question to ask here in the analog forum, but seeing we all have computers and home studios. Does anyone know of a good software which you could create you're own recording diagrams to keep track of settings and stuff? I need to be able to incorporate both words and shapes and the like. I usually wing it with the stuff I have but it's kind of a pain. I was thinking something like an Adobe writer of some kind but I can't figure out thier products. Plus they're probably too expensive.

Cool site. That's a keeper. I actually mean a software program so I could create my own diagrams just like those and fit em all on to one page. It doesn't list some of the gear I have but some of those could be useful. Thanks.
