Belt ? for Fosted R8

[Herm]

I dont have a problem with my R8 yet but was wondering, I have heard someone here mention the belt on a R8 is grooved?

I would like to pic one up for a spare if they are available or if someone could tell me the scoop on them. I have the owners manual for my R8 but not a service manual and was wondering how hard it is to change and get to.
Also do you go through the front or the back to change one.
I hate to open the machine up just to find out about it.

Aw, c'mon! That's half the fun,... if u have the time and semi-decent working conditions, (work table, good lighting, etc).
