Hey guys! I was hoping you could help me out with something. I'm trying to double track an acoustic part on my tascam 424 mkiii. I have one part already recorded onto track 2, and am trying to record the second part on to track 1. Whenever I try to record it onto track 1, the quality sounds very bad and scratchy, but only in areas where there is already a recording on track 2. If I skip forward to after the recording on track 2 and then record onto track 1, the quality is just fine. It's just that for some reason whenever I try to record onto track 1 alongside the preexisting track 2 recording, it sounds horrible. Does anyone know why this is or how I can fix it?
