Tascam 388 Send/RCV invert question

Hello

I have tried to build a Phase inverter.

I have done 2 versions.

1 a balanced inverter based on a switch.
2 a unbalanced inverter made from just a inverted tele cable.

Now, i haven't succeed doing this and i just can't understand why. When i using a sound effect connected the same way, (unbalanced)
then it works just fine.

Hello Qualmos. Precisely what are you attempting to achieve? What I mean to ask is, what effect are you trying to obtain? Send and receive on the 388 are hi Z, by the way. That may explain why your balanced connections aren't working.
