Help wanted: Superior drummer 2 hihat pedal response

I'm using SD2 in combination with a Roland TD6V. At current I can play 3 articulations on the hihat, the issue is that lifting my foot up just a millimeter already trigger the "somewhat open" sound on the hihat. I want that to happen after a couple of centimeters, so my question is: how can I modify the pedals response? Anybody have an idea?

My "poor man's" way to fix this would be to modify the articulation in the midi data after you record.

Thanks, but that doesn't really cut it. It's distracting while playing and I wanna have it right while playing. Posted it in the Toontrack Forum.
