Five free AIR expansions

AIR is giving registered users (or maybe even just newsletter subscribers) five free expansions: three for Hybrid (430 new presets), one for Loom (64 new presets), and one for DB33 (10 new presets). Yeah---As overloaded with synths as I am, I still call up Hybrid3 a lot, and Loom blew me away with its easy ability to use and tempo sync a vocal WAV file as a patch. The complete AIR instrument expansion package is still available for $60 on the net, and, IMHO, it's one of the best software bargains you will probably ever come across---and that's coming from a Kontakt junkie.

The PDF instructions may have you placing the unzipped preset folders into the wrong (previous version?) locations. These were default installation locations that worked for me:

C:\Program Files\AIR Music Technology\Hybrid\Presets
C:\Program Files\AIR Music Technology\Loom\Presets
C:\Program Files\AIR Music Technology\DB33\Presets

As always with AIR instruments---if your controller doesn't have aftertouch or you're not working the modwheel, you're probably not hearing how cool the full patch is.
