I have been getting conflicting answers to the question: How can I distribute a word clock?
System: 2 Digimax 8s feeding into a MOTU 2408 or a pair of ADAT LX-20s.
One person says you can daisy chain them.
One person says build a "Y" adapter and feed both slaves.
One person says feed the word clock on one Digimax into the other and let the ADATs and 2408 get the clock from the light pipe. If I do this, is there a possibility that the clock on the ADAT sync cable won't be alright?
