Spring Reverb

Anybody ever tried a spring reverb unit for mixing ?
I'm talking about those dedicated guitar amp analog spring units. How does it sound on vocals or snare tracks ?
I'm sure i'll try it next time but I was wondering if any of you allready tried ...

Hello,
I am also interested in trying a spring reverb for vocals and drum machines mosty. I thought this one looked cool:

But I haven't been able to find anyone who has tried it, and mostly I 've been told it would be more for guitarists and was recommended to go with the Kurzweil rumour which has a lot of nice reverb options on it.

I'm still interested in trying one of these vermona spring reverb units.

ive used a masterroom one and an orban one for years. sound great but a bit noisy. i wouldnt bother with the vermona units as there is a billion old units to be had off ebay. mabye they are better but for the price there are a lot of other things
