Relic rack gear

I was looking at a used LA610 that had paint peeling chips off it and wondered.....would there be a market for "relic'd" rack gear?

Like Fender did with the rusty, damaged guitar relic line, would people pay extra$$ for old relic replica rack units that had chips and crusty knobs that crackled and 60hz buzz hum?

60Hz is part of my plan, for sure. I might look at it as breast fed electronics vs Ticky-Tacky surface mount untouched by human hands and Spock Babies

Might be the new future of dirty clean buzz vibemaximus. Garageband Sounds with squeeling mics an johnny ramone

I can just see guys dragging their compressor and preamp boxes across the parking lot to speed up the relic'd look.
