A Pre-amp through a Pre-amp

Hello

Currently I run a digi 003 rack that has 4 built in pre-amps.

I also have 2 neve clones, Art Digital MPA, and a few other outboard pre-amps.

I have a Beringer ADA8000 hooked up via LightPipe/ADAT

the ADA8000 has 8 pre-amps and also 8 "line in's" I am considering filling an API lunchbox with some goodies and running them through the Line ins on the ADA over the lightpipe.

Do you think this will yeild better results then running the ADA8000 pre-amps?

I just wasn't sure if it would end up sounding like the stock ADA8000 pre/convertor. or if it will sound like the API stuff.

I shouldn't even have to turn the gain knob on the ADA8000 past 0 soooooooooooooooo I am thinking it'll be all API goodness
