JoeMeek power supply question

A friend lent me his JoeMeek MQ3 preamp and I've somehow mislaid the wall wart. The only doco I've seen recommends using only the JoeMeek power supply - is this right?

I could get another one if I knew what how many mA it needed, but I'm wondering will I blow the damn thing up?

Seriously, though, if it'll help I'll check my PS tonight and let you know. It may not apply, but these guys tend to use the same walwarts across products.
 
Heh. Yeah that would be great thanks. I googled for the specs but all I found was a user guide written by some guy called Fletcher

I dunno if that was tongue in cheek, but "that guy" (Fletcher) is widely revered as a demi-god around these parts (and gearslutz) :D
