My current set up is as follows:

1. Compaq Presario SR-2100 PC – Window XP , Ram 4 gig, Cakewalk Sonar Power Studio 250 with Sound Card

2. AKG Perception 200 condenser mic plug into-Tube MP Project Series Mic Amp output from Mic Amp
In-put to Track 1 of Mackie DFX-6 channel mixer.

3. Mackie DFX-6 channel mixer- Main out-put (L/R) (2 XLR Mic cables) connected to in-put mic 1Left and mic 2 Right of Sonar External USB Sound Card

4. Roland monitors- out-put (RCA Cord) plugged into Sonar External USB Sound Card

With this setup, I want to hookup my mic amp to my Sonar External USB Sound Card instead of the Mackie DFX-6 channel mixer. I’ll appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks!!!!!!!

Try:

mike > Tube MP > XLR > Sonar USB

You need to make sure that the Sonar USB is ok with a line-level input via XLR.

I have 1 input and 1 output, how do I hook up with mixer too, so the artist can hear their voice in the headphone while they are singing.
