Hello everyone,
I recently bought some new gear for use with my Roland 880EX and the last item on my list is an external comp. Being new to the details of compression, the Presonus Blue Max's presets look very nice. Also, I believe that the ACP 22 has some kind of automated attack/release setting that might be good as well. I also like the fact that the ACP 22 has balanced I/O including XLRs and can be used for dual mono operation. I would really appreciate any opinions on these units: sound quality (I'm talking acoustic guitar and vocals here), ease of use, features, etc. Also, would this come before or after my DBX 386 mic pre? Thanks!
