Front end to Digi 003 for vocals

Hey folks! Haven't posted in while. I am looking for a great sounding front end to my digi 003 for vocals. I need a preamp suggestion. Using ksm27 mic for vocals. Recording rnb, rap, rock, multiple instruments. Budget range, no more than $500. Thanks!

I would try to save another $300 and maybe look at the focusrite voicemaster / aphex 230 range if I were you.

I am trying to put together a comparison of sub $500 pres on my recording show, but so far the one that is really impressing me is the True Systems Solo. Its just fits in your budget by a hair.

Line6 ux8...has 8 analog outs...but is also an interface...just not protools friendly that I know of.
