I have the M-Audio fast track ultra, and it gives me nothing but problems tbh. It's not that it doesn't work, it works fine, it's just aggrivating getting computers to notice the USB cable going from the box to the computer. I replaced it with the Zoom R16, which is a similar price with more analog ins, and has the ability to act as a control surface.

I havn't used it too extensively yet, but i would recommend it based on what it can do and it's prices alone.

I hereby take away my recommendation for the zoom r16. If you decide to plug a decent preamp into it, get ready for your monitors to explode with feedback, even when the channel is muted...lol, i already sent mine back.
