Equipment order in rack.

Hi everyone
I am a newbie to this forum and am seeking guidance on setting up a rack.
I play guitar for my own pleasure, (not good enough for public performance). I sometimes record my own work to plat in the car, and for my (grown up) children. My effects unit is an Alesis Quad GT, as I play a fair bit of Shadows music etc., which is a great unit.
I have recently purchased an Alesis M-EQ 350 graphic equaliser, and an Alesis 3630 compressor to add to my rack.
I do not know in which order these should be connected to give best results, and would appreciate any guidance you can give.

In a guitar rack? I wouldn't even have them in there.

If they're really needed for some reason (well, then I'd be looking for a different amp first) you'd probably want the EQ before the compressor - Probably. But it depends on if that gives you the sound you're looking for.

Still -- In the long run, I stick with my first sentence.
