I've got a MOTU 8pre, which seems to have some decent pres, from what I can tell, but I seem to need more detail and clarity in my mixes. Would I benefit from a mic pre in the $500-$600 range, such as the FMR RNP, True Systems P-solo, or grace m101 ??
