Crate combos - any advice?

Hi guys,

Haven't been around for a while but have a question from a friend. If anyone could help us out with some advice it would be greatly appreciated. He's looking for a crate combo:

"I want something with hifi acoustics but has to be able to deal with the bottom end bass of a didgeridoo and high end toots and calls. Will mainly use it for didge performance/demos I give plus as a back line amp in the couple of bands that are interested in having me try out with them so I want around 60W, a mic and instrument input and RCA phono too, eq,on-board effects, and feedback filter would be good too."

Anything around £250? He had ordered this - Crate CA611ODG Cimarron 60W Acoustic Guitar Amp Combo - but it's not available any more...

i know your friend would like to buy a crate combo. but why? i find if your going on the cheap behringer products are good as well. your friend might be interested in these.

these are just a few of the ones i came up with quickly that might suit your friends needs. from what you posted, i believe the last one on the list would probably suit your friends needs best and is just at his budget level.

Save your money. If you're going to cheap to go loud...It's not worth it in the long run. In 6 months you'll be buying some sort of tubed monster.

Hell you can get a used 4x10 Deville for under $500 on craigslist any day of the week.

If you're looking for cheap/quality.
