Goal: to have 32 outs of my DAW (24 audio/8 FX sends)
Current Equipment: MOTU 2408, Alesis HD24 & 1 ADAT XT 20
Dilemma, which is the better way to go:
A) Add a MOTU 1224 for the FX outs and not use the ADAT in the chain.
B) Replace the MOTU 2408 with an M-Audio Profire, using the ADAT’s D/A for the FX.
