Compressor issue in stereo mode - Audio Logic MT66

I started contemplating of selling my old
two channel/stereo compressor/limiter Audio Logic MT66.

It's being stored for a LOOoONG time, since i shifted from music to video/film.

...

When i used it, generally as a mastering compressor in stereo mode,
i remember sometimes it happened to produce some slight semi random peak/click.
And only in the ONE channel, if i remember correctly.

The settings on the unit were not extreme - big ratio or too low threshold.
Some moderate compression.

When i disengage the stereo link via the same named button, it seemed ok.

Anybody knowing what might have been going on?

I want to inform the potential buyer of the issue and hopefully share
some information on possible solution.

Thank you in advance.

I don't know what the problem is but it's similar to what the old dbx Project1 266 does on LF sources. It clicks. Maybe it's just the one that I had but it could be a design flaw in all of them.
